Sweetheart Collection card templates release! {Zanesville OH Photographer}

I'm very excited to release my first card template collection, The Sweetheart Collection! These cards started out specifically for Valentine's Day but I quickly realized that I wanted them to be less about Valentine's and more about little girls, whether it be for a holidays, a simple I Love You reminder, or for a birthday invitation for your princess!


The collection includes a 5x5 trifold, a 5x5 flat, a vertical flat, & a horizontal folded card, all created to match WHCC's card specs. The text is completely customizable so you can use them for many different occasions! For my first collection I'm releasing all 4 fully designed card templates for $15!!

So many pictures, so little time! {Zanesville OH Photographer}

So, the last year has just left my head spinning! I have been so blessed when it comes to my work and all the wonderful opportunities I had this year and I hope to continue to be so fortunate, and to be able to share whatever good comes my way! At the end of the year, when the spinning finally started to slow down, I realized that I didn't have many pictures of my own family to share. I mean, sure I had the holiday snapshots and other candids along the way, but nothing that screamed 'put me above the mantle!' Not that I have a mantle, but you know what I mean hahha!! So last weekend, instead of complaining that I had nothing lined up, I took my own girlies to the studio and had some fun. NOW, there are so many gorgeous images that I'll NEVER be able to choose my favorite few to print! This was a great day - time with my girls and beautiful images to show off after lol!!

Client spotlight - Becca!

So, I recently booked a senior session with the beautiful Becca, only to find out right before the shoot that her older brother is an old friend of my husbands! What a small world!

Becca promptly told me that she hadn't really had pictures done since she was a child, and that she would probably need some direction. That was NOT the case at all! She is a natural beauty and that shined through in all of her pictures! Her are my first few edits!

My Funky Camera Strap! ; )

Okay, thanks to Gabi at My Funky Camera, I have an INCREDIBLE new camera strap now! I have had this on my wish list for at least a year and always have something less exciting I have to spend my money on : (

This strap is SO SOFT on the back!!! I can not believe I put this off for so long - I had no idea what I was missing! Seriously. SOFT!!!

She has so many straps, wristlets, and other accessories to choose from - I hope she doesn't mind, I'm putting a couple of HER images on here so you can see what I'm talking about. These are just a few of the designs she offers - there are also scrolled straps, leopard, zebra, skulls, and more!

The one on the bottom is the one I got, just for the record!

Before you get all excited and run over there to place your order, the store is closed for a few weeks due to a family emergency, but I believe she'll be back around the 20th and will be restocking so go ahead and look around, pick your fav and then bookmark her site for sure!

So, I've been waiting for EVER it seems for this little one to get here! I've been so busy with shoots and edits and more shoots and more edits that it seemed to take forever to get these done but I will finally have them finished and uploaded to the gallery tomorrow. I wanted to post a couple here in the meantime just to tease Mom & Dad!

Thank you for trusting me to play with your beautiful newborn baby. She was such a doll!

Sara and Dan Rankin

I recently had the pleasure of capturing the moments of a very special day, the wedding of Sara Pitcock and Dan Rankin. We all know how very stressful a wedding can be, and as photographers, often times we can see families at their most stressed on these very exciting days! This was not the case at this wedding, where everyone seemed to be relaxed and just genuinely enjoying the day.
